Eating Solids

Dr. Hickie is finally letting me eat solids because I passed three requirements: 1) at least 4 months old 2) my weight is more than doubled my birth weight 3) good head control.

I'm only allowed to start with rice cereal first for three weeks. Mommy mixed rice cereal with breast milk. I'm still not allowed to drink H2O and juice yet :-(

YUCK!! Rice cereal is tasteless. I actually prefer sushi and Starbucks. Mommy ate sushi when I was still inside of her. That's right, you read it, she had raw fish! She wanted me to have natural DHA, omega-3 and omega-6. Good brain power food!!!!

Don't ask me why but I still have the tongue thrust reflex. So maybe my parents will hold of the solids for a couple more weeks.

Yeah...that is the way my boys took to solids...they didn't really!
Luke ate them pretty good at 6 months. They both mostly liked it when they could pick up stuff and feed themselves...that is when they really started chowing down on solids!
It is fun to feed them though...a little messy but fun.
At least she isn't making awful faces about the food!
